SITE was contracted by a major midstream energy distribution company to install a pipeline to connect an existing tank farm near Cheecham, Alberta to a pump station located at the central processing plant of a SAGD project near Jacos, AB.
The pipeline was approximately 50 km through very challenging terrain; extreme elevation changes, substantial river crossing and multiple utility and road bores.
At peak the project team included 300 personnel and 100 pieces of major equipment.
