Community

Where we conduct our business is just as important as how we conduct our business.

The fact that we have an impact on, and a commitment to, every community where we work is never far from mind. As a result, we support all our communities by providing donations and sponsorships to many local groups.  Over the years, we have proudly sponsored and donated to:

  • Community high school sports;
  • Arts and achievement clubs;
  • Agricultural community associations and clubs;
  • Minor hockey;
  • Minor soccer;
  • Aboriginal work placement training; and
  • Seasonal festivals, rodeos, and more.

SITE takes every opportunity to form joint ventures and partnerships with local community stakeholders in a communal effort to increase local economic, social and environmental efforts.

Whenever possible, SITE hires and trains qualified local Aboriginal residents for each of our projects. SITE has implemented a very successful Aboriginal work placement training program. This relationship allows us to contribute to local economic development while maintaining a dedicated and successful workforce.
