ll organizations face the risk of things going wrong or of unknowingly harbouring illegal or unethical conduct. Site Resource Group Inc. (SRG) is committed to doing business with honesty and integrity and encouraging openness and accountability.
Employees are often the first to realize that there is something wrong within the organization however they may feel that speaking up would be disloyal to their colleagues or to the business itself. SRG believes its employees should feel free to report any incidents of malpractice or suspected wrongdoing without fear of suffering retribution provided any such reports are based on genuine concerns and are without malice or made in bad faith.
All employees of SRG are encouraged to raise genuine concerns about possible improprieties in the conduct of our business at the earliest opportunity.
Procedure
If any employee believes reasonably and in good faith that improprieties exist in the workplace, then he/she should report them immediately to his/her own line manager. However, if for any reason you do not wish to raise your concerns through your normal service line manager, you should report your concerns to a senior HR representative.
The concern should be made orally or in writing, describing the incident(s) as fully as possible. All concerns raised will be viewed seriously and treated as confidential. Provided there is sufficient evidence to support the allegations / concern, a full investigation will be conducted with the objective of establishing whether malpractice has occurred.
Employees who have raised a concern will be informed of who is handling the matter and how they can be contacted. SRG will carry out an initial review of the information received and will then determine what the most appropriate course of action is. We will contact you following our initial review and update you about the next stages of the process.
We will give as much feedback as we can without any infringement on a duty of confidence owed by us to someone else. Employees’ identities will not be disclosed without prior consent. Where concerns cannot be resolved without revealing the identity of the employee raising the concern, we will enter into dialogue with the employee concerned in the first instance to discuss whether and how we can proceed.
Anyone who retaliates against a whistle-blower (who reported in good faith) will be subject to formal disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Confidential Whistleblowing Helpline
Whilst it is best to raise your concerns openly with us, SRG is committed to ensuring that any employee wanting to report serious misconduct is offered an easily accessible and confidential means of doing so.
To facilitate this, SRG has established a free and confidential whistleblowing hotline that is outsourced by SRG to Navex Global (a specialist independent third party) to assist in circumstances where the employee wishes to remain completely anonymous when reporting an event.
There are multiple reporting methods for communicating with Navex Global including telephone numbers and web-based reporting in various jurisdictions.
The contact details for NAVEX may be found on the SRG website or directly on the NAVEX website. NAVEX services are available 24 hours a day for 365 days of the year and can accommodate multiple languages.
