History

  • SITE was formed in March 2010 when it partnered with the Tri City Contracting group of companies and Timberline Industries based in Northeast Alberta.  These companies brought significant infrastructure, utilities and civil capabilities, and positioned SITE in the heart of the heavy oil in-situ activity in Alberta.
  • In September 2010, SITE expanded into the Canadian Bakken by opening up a facility along with professional management in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
  • In October 2010, SITE expanded further north in Alberta's heavy oil heartland by opening up a facility in Conklin, Alberta.
  • Simultaneously in October 2010, SITE asserted its presence in the Canadian Bakken by partnering with Greg Cousins Construction and Pac Rentals located in Southeast Saskatchewan and Southwest Manitoba.
  • In December 2010, SITE diversified its services by partnering with Bear Slashing, the largest provider of slashing and mulching services in Western Canada. Their other services include remote access, land clearing and environmental services with established relationships in the oil sands.
  • In January 2011, SITE strengthened its position in the Canadian Bakken by partnering with George Foord's Construction based out of Estevan, Saskatchewan.
  • In July 2011, SITE established its base for the next wave of SAGD projects around Fort McMurray, Alberta by partnering with Demers Contracting, a long standing Fort McMurray company.
  • SITE expanded its remote access capabilities by partnering with HCL National in October 2011, the third longest mulching services provider in Western Canada.
  • SITE expanded further North into the Athabasca oil sands Region in June 2012 by opening up a facility along with professional management in Wabasca, Alberta to service its clients' next wave of exploration and production expenditures.
  • In October 2012, G. Richard Drilling joined SITE adding low impact, environmentally sustainable, drilling operations to SITE's services catalogue.
  • I.W. Kuhn Environmental joined SITE in November, 2012 and brought 30 years of experience in site construction and maintenance, remediation, site decommissioning, demolition and reclamation in Southeast Alberta.
  • In July 2013, SITE welcomed IVM Construction.  Based in North Dakota and Montana, IVM specializes in heavy civil and pipeline construction services, roustabout services and crushing and aggregate production.
  • In November 2013, SITE partnered with Force Pile Driving, an Alberta-based company that provides custom pile driving solutions for the most challenging terrain and infrastructure projects in Western Canada and the United States.
