Leo Barrette - Vice President
As a Vice President, Leo is responsible for the overall performance of the region working closely with all levels of the organization.
Leo started his industrial construction career in the late 1980’s working for a family owned and operated contracting business where he gained first hand knowledge of the challenges faced by successful contractors. After 4 years of Engineering at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario he resumed his career in the Western Canadian oil and gas industry. After a few project based assignments including gas plant projects in Argentina and Bolivia, Leo began a successful career with the Ledcor Group spanning close to 15 years and working his way up from a field tradesman to Project Director in charge of a large Oils Sands Project north of Fort McMurray.
With a strong background in business operations process, Leo offers a unique approach to balancing field operational efficiencies with corporate demands through a keen understanding of the day to day challenges faced by our employees.
Chris Martineau - Vice President
Chris is responsible for the overall operations; working with Regional Operations Managers, Project Managers, Safety representatives and Construction Managers.
The North region of SITE; Cold Lake, Pierceland, Fort McMurray, Fairview and Conklin are comprised of multiple work disciplines which fall under the guidance of Chris Martineau. Chris must make decisions regarding multi-million dollar projects based on past practical experience and knowledge gained since becoming the GM in (2012).
Roger Didychuk – Operations Manager
Roger progressed from being the General Manager of I.W. Kuhn Environmental (merged with SITE), to SITE's Canadian Bakken Region Operations Manager. Roger has a Business Administration Diploma from Medicine Hat College and a Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma from Lethbridge College. Roger has been an active manager in I.W. Kuhn since 1990 and became a partner in 1996. Involved in numerous stakeholder workshops and committees, he has been able to stay current on B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan’s oil and gas regulations. Roger has been involved in numerous contaminated soil excavations, clean-ups, and site reclamation projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba.
Neil Hopaluk - Senior Construction Manager
Neil is responsible for providing the construction management team with overall project guidance and issues resolution related to the execution and delivery of projects of significant scope and size.
A pipefitter by trade who started in the heavy oil industry out of high school Neil owned and operated his own maintenance and construction company in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Neil has had great success leading the Construction Management Team at Devon, where he managed the fabrication and construction of two successful SAGD facilities in the Jackfish field. Neil takes pride and enjoyment in being an influential part of a developing team and leading them to success.
